Mark Hailwood joins tmGroup as Chief Product Officer

Key member of the LSSA’s working group on AI, Mark Hailwood has joined tmGroup as Chief Product Officer.

Mark has more than 16 years’ experience in technology and over a decade in the legal sector, with a strong background in SaaS, LegalTech and FinTech. His career has focused on building and scaling market-leading products, aligning product strategy with the needs of customers and helping the day-to-day realities of professionals working in conveyancing and other areas of law.

In his new role at tmGroup, Mark is responsible for shaping the company’s strategy for developing products across the group’s portfolio of conveyancing and property technology. His appointment comes at a time when automation, data and improvements in processes led by technology are increasingly central to driving efficiency, accuracy and transparency across the conveyancing landscape.

Mark is an active contributor to LSSA working groups, especially to its panel on AI, and supports discussion across the wider industry on the practical application of emerging technologies within legal services.
